Breathing Whale

Whales live gracefully, serenely, and freely in the vast ocean. Even when the weather changes, and the tides shift, they maintain their own rhythm, leading a dignified life. What makes this possible? It is their 'breathing.' Whales occasionally surface to take deep, conscious breaths. This is what gives them true rest and the real 'pause.'

Breathing Whale is a place to achieve that unwavering, free lifestyle, just like a whale, in everyday life. Since 2015, we have been offering yoga and meditation guidance, providing a space for deep mental and physical rest and rejuvenation. As of 2023, we have expanded our base to Seoul, Busan, and Jeju Island, nurturing a calm and safe community while supporting the harmony and recovery of body, mind, and spirit. Guiding each person to sail the infinite ocean of life with clarity and peace.

And in 2025, a new chapter begins. Starting in Tokyo, we will create spaces for us who live in the modern world. A place where there is no competition, no comparison, allowing you to breathe, rest, and grow at your own pace. A quiet sanctuary to return to your true self.

After graduating from university, I started working at an advertising company. During the busy days, I experienced a time when I lost balance in both my mind and body, and yoga helped me recover. I gave birth to my first daughter in 2021 and my son in 2024, and I also support women before and after childbirth. In my lessons, I focus on teaching the importance of facing and taking care of one's own body and mind.

Flexible Performer / NIKE Official Trainer A unique flexible performer with a wide range of experience in genres such as classical ballet, rhythmic gymnastics, baton twirling, cheer dance, and contortion.

Based on personal athletic experience, established a fundamental flexibility improvement method focusing on body structure called 'Re-born stretch - release & correct.' In 2019, served as the youngest ever instructor at 'Yogafest Yokohama,' Asia's largest event with an attendance of 50,000 people. Currently active as both a performer and instructor domestically and internationally.

The day I first practiced meditation, I was able to take a step back and observe everything from a distance for the first time. When I gently peeked into my own mind, I realized how much I had been suffering. Soon after, I also began practicing yoga. Wanting to understand meditation even more deeply, I visited India.

During that journey, I realized that the root cause of all the uncertainties in my life—relationships, career, my own self-worth, doubts about living, even physical health—was that I had not truly understood myself.

As I learned meditation from world-renowned teachers, conducted research, and deepened my practice, clarity slowly began to emerge. The more I became able to understand my own mind carefully and compassionately, the more I realized the following truth: Clarity brings calmness. And from that calmness, life flows more naturally and peacefully.

As my understanding of myself deepened, I found that life goals could be achieved effortlessly, and the human relationships around me naturally began to heal as well.
